What’s your hourly rate?
I don’t have one. Every project I quote is priced based on value, not time. I’ve found this approach benefits both of us – you’re not pushing me to cut corners and save time, and I get to spend more time working on your content and less time tracking… well, my time.
What does the process look like, for new clients?
Every business has different needs, and every project has different requirements. To help both of us find the best possible solution for you, all of my new client relationships start the same way: with a Roadmapping session.
We’ll spend 90 minutes peeling back the layers of your business goals and challenges, in order to help you gain clarity, set direction, and build a plan to reach your business and marketing goals. Once we wrap up our session, I’ll send you a detailed Roadmap report you can follow to achieve the goals we discussed, including accurate details around the timeline, budget, and outcomes. You can then continue working with me to carry out our plan – you’re also free to take this report elsewhere if you want.

Can I pay via credit card?
Am I allowed to make revisions and suggestions?
Every project includes one round of edits per piece of content. This simplifies things for both of us and keeps us from going around in circles forever. If you need additional edits after the first round, there’ll be a project-based fee for the additional work.
How soon can we get started?
Usually, I require at least two weeks of lead time when beginning a new project. This gives me a chance to bring in additional freelance writers if needed, as well as helping to prevent scheduling conflicts with other work. We can get started with the preliminaries straight away, though, so it’s best to book a call as soon as you’re ready.
(If you need me RIGHT THIS SECOND, I can bump you up my to-do list, but it’ll cost you 25% extra for front-row seating. I’d prefer we both avoid it if possible.)
