You've got ideas you want to share and stories you want to tell. You need high-quality, inspiring content to connect with the right customers and build your audience.
You've also been doing this long enough to realize:
Writing your own blog content just isn't sustainable.
I help founders, makers, and creative folk like yourself connect with your audience, grow your reach, and (let's be honest) make a ton of money.
How? With ridiculously effective blog content.
Check out just a few results I've produced for clients:
Since 2016, I've worked with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual founders, including InVision, ConvertKit, and Jilt.
Now it's your turn.
Grow your reach and generate more leads with content that connects.
Nurture your audience with valuable email content they'll want to read.
Understand your audience and reach your business goals with a custom content strategy.
I work with founders, makers, creators, and small B2B SaaS and ecommerce companies. If you like to have fun and don't take yourself too seriously, we'll probably get along like a house on fire.
Every stellar piece of web content I create has a few things in common:
Empathy is truly at the heart of all great marketing, and writing.
Framing your marketing and your bigger story in a way that offers real value for the customer, instead of basing it on hunches or best practices, lets you reach your audience on a whole new level.
Put yourself in your audience's shoes. You should also try on their socks, shirt, pants, and hat, and walk around for a while. Above all else, work to get the strongest understanding of their pains, hopes, dreams, problems, and fears. It takes time, but your marketing will thank you for it.
Brands these days are incredibly efficient at producing "that'll do" content. After all, "that'll do" content gets the job done.
But B2B marketers are really bad at brand-level content - the kind of content that does deeper than just "what" and "how." It's the kind of content that celebrates who you are, and what you believe in. The "why" behind your work.
People don't buy what you do, they buy into why you do it. And once we've bought into a brand's beliefs, we're more than halfway to buying their products. Honest, story-driven content lets the right prospects know you're "their kind of people"—and likewise, send the wrong kinds of prospects running for the hills.
The best content marketing tends to be the pieces that make you slow down and think while you're creating it. But, the default speed of most marketing teams leans more towards hare than tortoise.
And that's a shame. Your prospects and audience won't ever know—much less care—how much time you spent on the latest post, podcast episode, or ebook. But they will remember whether it make them stop and think or feel anything.
We all want more shares, more leads, more recognition. I get it - I'm impatient too. But a slower, more thoughtful approach to content marketing pays dividends. Create content that's worth reading.
Make no mistake - I'm not the right person to help every business. If you fit into one or more of these boxes, we'll probably get along just dandy:
People - your customers, your employees, and your freelancers - come first in everything you do. Growing your audience, sharing stories, and building relationships is more important to you than numbers on a page.
I spend a lot of time working closely with each client, and that level of quality takes effort. You're not in this for a quick buck - you're wanting quality content for the long run.
We'll collaborate on every article, and you'll be responsible for providing timely feedback and suggestions on articles.I'll always make sure you're up to date with every project.
Your business model is proven, and you have a clear idea of your target audience and marketing goals - even if you don't quite know how to get there (yet).
You can find out more about how much I charge for projects, and get answers to the rest of your questions, on my FAQs and Rates page.
Of course! Here are a few that I'm particularly proud of:
I've also ghostwritten pieces for other SaaS clients ranging from individual founders up to Fortune 500 companies. I can't share them here, but feel free to reach out if you'd like to see some examples.
